A 65-year-old patient, operated 10 years ago for a double mitro-aortic mechanical valve replacement. Hospitalized in the cardiology department for an infectious endocarditis due to Streptococcus bovis, complicated by a periprosthetic aortic abscess responsible for a fistula between the ascending aorta and the left ventricle. The patient is put on adapted antibiotic therapy and then offered for revision surgery.
