A Case Report: COVID Vaccine-Induced Immune Thrombocytopenia

1. Abstract

We report a case of COVID-19 vaccine-induced thrombocytopenia in a healthy 52-year-old woman. COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the lives of many; however, thanks to the tireless efforts of scientists, there are now highly effective vaccines available. Initial trials of these vaccines revealed side effects such as fatigue, headache, myalgia, and rarely, anaphylaxis.
