Challenges at the Cochin Cancer Research Centre - PET/CT in Breast Cancer - Boon or Bane? - Lessons learnt from the Royal Marsden experience

18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography with integrated computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) can be used for evaluation of response in Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC). This article aimed to review literature with special reference to clinical practice guidelines from the Royal Marsden Hospital, London. I made a systematic search in Embase, PubMed/Medline, and Cochrane Library using a modified PICO model.
