1. Abstract

1.1. Aim: The application of robotic-assisted laparoscopy in pediatric surgery.

1.2. Materials and Method: We used robotic-assisted laparoscopy to perform cholecystectomy and total splenectomy in a 12-yearold girl suffering from complications of chronic anemia due to hereditary spherocytosis. This report has been approved by our hospital Ethical Committee and we got a consent statement from her mother. Patient confidentiality has been respected and the intention of this work is mainly for scientific consideration.
